Scioto County’s First Designated Bike Route Established!

Thanks to County Engineer Craig Opperman’s assistance (including collaboration with Shawnee State Forest and Shawnee State Park) we now have a marked, designated bike route in Scioto County. It runs from the Mackletree Bridge, at Roosevelt Lake in Shawnee Park, to the Otway Covered Bridge, on St. Rt. 348 and is labeled “B” – The Bridge to Bridge bike route. We thank Mr Opperman for his enthusiasm and effort on accomplishing this first step! What a great Christmas present for Scioto County cyclist!
