With your help, CONNEX offered hikes, bike rides, kayaking excursions, friendships, CONNEXtions and new partnerships in 2021!

In 2021, Connex hosted:
• A Backpacking 101 Class.
• Safety Town. Participating youth learned bike safety on the roads, received a bike safety inspection and a free helmet.
• Inaugural Wild Ride in the Shawnee State Forest.
In 2021, Connex led more than:
• 30 opportunities for hikers to explore area hiking routes.
• 30 opportunities for cyclists to bike various routes.
• 10 kayaking events.
In 2021, Connex partnered with :
• TOSRV and Friends of Portsmouth to move the finish line
• party to Three Bridges.
• Scioto County Commissioners and SOMBA to assist youth to borrow bikes and ride on the newly installed bike pump track at Riverside Park. Any youth participant who did not have a helmet was given a free helmet. Over 70 helmets were gifted by Connex.
In 2021, Connex CUT the ribbon for the Front Street
Multiuse Path in Portsmouth, Ohio.
